    Scrapper Life is a top-down 2D adventure where players command the crew of the FUBAR Scrapper, a struggling salvage ship exploring dangerous space to collect scrap and pay off a massive debt. Navigate star systems, dismantle derelicts, and face threats like rival scrappers, bounty hunters, and alien creatures. Manage your crew, ship power, and make tough choices to survive the dangers of space while racing against the looming debt. Will you thrive as a scrapper or fall victim to the void?




Project Responsibilities


Main Roles: Co-Designer, Lead Artist

Co-Designer

  • Collaborate with the lead game designer to define the core mechanics, gameplay systems, and features of the game.
  • Assist in developing the game’s narrative, themes, and objectives.
  • Contribute ideas for level design, encounters, and challenges to enhance gameplay.
  • Playtest the game regularly to identify areas for improvement and refine mechanics.
  • Managing scope and decision-making on cutting content.

Lead Artist

  • Develop and maintain the overall visual style and artistic vision of the game.
  • Create all assets including title screen, menus, icons, etc. 
  • Work closely with the lead designer to ensure the art aligns with the game’s mechanics and themes.
  • Ensure consistency in visual quality across all elements.
